Last week CustomWare launched the latest stable version of our most popular Confluence products, Scaffolding 4.5.0, with major improvements to the plugin's editing user interface.

Originally released in 2007, Scaffolding is an add-on for Atlassian Confluence. The highly-praised plug-in contains macros for creating 'permanent templates' and editable forms with Confluence. Many customers use this plugin to build the foundation of their semantic wiki and collaboration system.

An overhaul of the Scaffolding "Edit Contents" user interface, using main HTML forms, provides a user-experience that is more functional, simple and intuitive. The version is also downward compatible with previous releases.

A line-item list of improvements and fixes can be found in our Get Satisfaction community. Additional technical details and screenshots regarding the update can be found on our release blog within our Documents Wiki.

The plugin is available for download on the Atlassian Plugin Exchange.
