One of the first questions that JIRA Administrators get from management once JIRA is up and running is, "Can you run some reports and tell me what is happening with this or that?" An important and major JIRA Administration task is running reports and otherwise searching for issues at the request of management, so it is important to know how to find and extract data from JIRA. So there are two functions you need to learn. First is how to run reports. Second is how to run searches when the standard JIRA Filters are not enough.
These two important JIRA Administration skills are the reason we developed a self-paced eLearning called JIRA Reporting & JQL, which is now available on our Marketplace.
When it comes to JIRA Administration, if you know what you are doing, there are a variety of reports built right into JIRA and if those are not enough, there are many third-party add-ons in the Atlassian Marketplace that you can use. And if you know how to use the JIRA Query Language (JQL), there is no limit to what you can do in JIRA. And the best part of this new course is that since it is designed as a self-paced eLearning course, you can take it when you want, at your own pace, and use it as a resource whenever you need a refresher.
So, if you want to improve your JIRA skills and are not as strong at JQL or how to run reports in JIRA as you would like to be, consider taking our self-paced eLearning course.
