On May 25, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes into effect. The purpose of this new regulation is to strengthen even further the protection of EU residents’ personal data, and increase the accountability of organizations that collect and handle that data. At ServiceRocket, we have been working hard on educating our employees on the new requirements, and updating our processes to make it easy for our EU residents to access, erase and ask questions about the personal data we may hold about them. In addition, we’ve been working to understand how we can help our enterprise customers comply with this regulation when using our products.

DiFilippo currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at AppDirect, the leading technology platform for selling, distributing, and managing cloud-based services. He brings more than twenty-five years’ experience in finance, accounting, and business development leadership roles with public companies and venture capital/private equity-funded technology startups including Software as a Service (SaaS) companies. Prior to AppDirect, DiFilippo was Division CFO for the Mobility Apps Division of Citrix Systems, acquired by LogMeIn Inc. January 2017; CFO at MuleSoft with responsibility for all staff functions plus sales operations and helped scale the company during its early growth stage; CFO at Intelleflex, where he streamlined operations and optimized cash flow; and VP Finance at Symbol Technologies, where he oversaw product finance and helped scale business analytics, reporting and financial planning.

While ServiceRocket's Sydney office resembles nothing of the bedroom from where Rob Castaneda founded the company, it retains culture and spirit that is uniquely Aussie.
