The JIRA 6 mantra is plain and forward: Modern. Fast. Mobile. Simple. Adhering to the company's new Atlassian Design Guidelines information has been made easier to find and common tasks are now simpler. Mirroring many of the components users are accustomed to seeing in Confluence, BitBucket and Stash, doing work on multiple Atlassian platforms now feels less like speaking several foreign languages.

JIRA is faster than ever before thanks to innovations like Detail View and Compact Mode. Claiming to cut time working with a list of issues by 50%, the former gives you full power of JIRA with inline edits for single field changes,@mentions to pull others into the conversation, and keyboard shortcuts to speed up navigation make editing and triaging issues a breeze. Compact mode will free up more of your screen for focusing on whatever matters most.

Mobile capabilities have taken a giant leap with JIRA 6. Like social network apps, accessing an JIRA notification on your smartphone will automatically lead to your the JIRA interface. Watching issues on the go has never been so easy.
