Atlassian Software, developer of popular collaborative software platforms JIRA and Confluence, has been named a leader in driving the application development life cycle management (ALDM) market to evolve and expand.
Each year, Gartner develops a quadrant of software developers in a variety of categories. This year's ALDM companies included heavyweights such as IBM, Microsoft and HP. Companies abilities to execute and completeness of vision in the ALDM space earn them a place in one of the quadrants. Gartner uses online surveys of customers of the included vendors as well as market indicators to develop their rankings.
