PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ServiceRocket, a provider of training, utilization and support technology and services designed to maximize Customer Success, today announced it has acquired assets of Matygo Educational Incorporated, including the Learndot customer education platform, broadening its SaaS-based training and content offerings to include easily developed, simple, on-demand user training. Matygo Educational Incorporated, based in Vancouver, BC, with offices in San Francisco, developed the Learndot customer education platform, which allows organizations, including startups and small software companies, to easily create courses from existing materials or from scratch, and also allows for easy scale while delivering precise analytics. Terms of the asset purchase agreement were not disclosed.

“We’re huge fans of both organizations and rely on their solutions as a critical part of our Customer Education Center. The integration of Learndot into ServiceRocket’s global organization, along with its cutting edge customers, gives us confidence our current and future education needs will be first class.”

“We want to be the best way people learn software, and Learndot is the perfect complement to ServiceRocket’s offerings,” said Rob Castaneda, Founder and CEO of ServiceRocket. “The Learndot platform, together with our expertise, makes it easy for any company to offer the exact training customers need. Not everyone learns at the same pace, and Learndot allows any user to set his or her own pace, and quickly measure the impact of the training and adjust it as needed. Now any fast growing software company can depend on ServiceRocket solutions to ensure users love their software, stay loyal and consume more.”

ServiceRocket’s TrainingRocket platform is already used by many of today’s fast growing software companies such as Cloudera, NGINX, Mulesoft and Pentaho to power their online customer universities and training businesses. With the addition of Learndot, ServiceRocket’s training solutions now include self-paced, mobile-friendly, on-demand eLearning, complementing its comprehensive learning platform designed for enterprise needs. The company now offers a full host of training solutions, from simple programs that can be rolled out quickly, to comprehensive training platforms for enterprises with revenue-generating training departments.

“As a customer of both companies, we are excited to know Learndot has found a home within ServiceRocket,” said Rahul Sachdev, CEO of Get Satisfaction. “We’re huge fans of both organizations and rely on their solutions as a critical part of our Customer Education Center. Out-of-the-Box Training with Learndot

Learndot makes launching a training course as easy as writing a blog. Its modular design makes the use of existing or new materials in a snap, delivering learning content to any device. Companies can engage with customers to measure use and success at any stage of the training via tests and quizzes, while segmenting users to ensure delivery of the right learning materials to the right people. Learndot also provides detailed learning records for all users, and clear data visualization of learning content success, so companies can quickly see what is working and what can be adjusted for more success.

“ServiceRocket knows where training is going, and they understand, as we do, how to make training quick and easy,” says Paul Lambert, CEO and Co-Founder, of Learndot. “Learndot can now leverage ServiceRocket’s partners and expertise to scale to expand our customer base and respond quickly to customer needs. Together, ServiceRocket and Learndot are the way people learn to use software.”

With this acquisition, ServiceRocket is the training, utilization and support solution for any training program needs, enabling the highest level of customer retention and success.
