From basic and simple utilities to sophisticated power tools for Confluence, we are passionate about giving our users the tools they need to get their job done. 2000 businesses are already using Scaffolding, across multiple industries like banking, automotive, aerospace, higher education, telecommunication, biotechnology and entertainment. We are constantly amazed by the profound solutions our Scaffolding users come up with using Scaffolding's forms and templating capabilities. Thank you for your votes, ideas and feedback -- Scaffolding has just gotten better.
Today we’re announcing the general availability of REST API in Scaffolding.
The Scaffolding REST API focuses on form editing flow, thus opening up new ways to integrate, scale, and automate your forms in Confluence.
Scale up your form editing tasks
Now you can skip the manual work of populating your forms, especially when maintaining a catalog via Scaffolding. Take a list of items, say, from your CSV or reports; and use the API to edit your forms in bulk. Turning a flat data into a structure has never been easier in Confluence.
Automate and integrate for real-time updates
Reduce the waiting time of getting your form updated. You can use the API with your integration solutions - be it custom, or ready solutions like Zapier, IFTTT, etc. Scaffolding API extends your integration capabilities beyond just working with Confluence REST API, so that you can automate your page creation as well as form editing. When combined with Reporting add-on, you can create an end-to-end, real-time data pipeline from external to Confluence for your collaboration needs.
Migrate away from legacy data sources
The API takes away the hassle of getting your legacy data source migrated to Confluence; offline catalogs, inventory lists and Excel spreadsheets. Say not to manual data entry - you can now keep your documents all in Confluence, where everybody collaborates.
We’re excited to get this API in your hands and can’t wait to see how it can help optimize your business. To help you get started, we’ve created some example scripts and a comprehensive API documentation. If you’re already using Scaffolding, make sure you have the latest version of Scaffolding to enjoy this update.
