We use a lot of the products that we integrate and sell. Our sales team uses Salesforce.com to manage leads, contacts, accounts & opportunities. When we have an upcoming project, we like to share that information with our technical teams who live and work in Confluence.
Having technical users log into Salesforce to see this data is too cumbersome for us, seeing that those users live inside of Confluence and we couldn't justify purchasing additional monthly subscriptions for hundreds of users to simply view a report . So we extended support in our Reporting Plugin for Salesforce.com data, giving our team up-to-date Salesforce.com objects and data without ever leaving Confluence. The connector is available for your team as well.
With the connector users can view within a Confluence wiki page the following from Salesforce:
- Accounts
- Contacts
- Cases
- Leads/Opportunities
- Products/Solutions
Here's some example screen shots:
Customware's Connector for Salesforce.com and Confluence allows you to easily access the information you use in Salesforce.com without ever leaving Confluence!
The connector comprises a custom integration component for Confluence that makes calls to Salesforce.com and renders the information within a wiki page. The connector requires Salesforce.com Professional or higher and works with any version of Confluence. The integration does not require additional Salesforce.com seats for those accessing Salesforce data from Confluence.
See what users are saying about the connector:
...when a Portal User clicks a link in SalesForce.com, they are automatically taken to Confluence and logged in automtically. A great plugin for any company that wants to integrate these two applications. -James Peterson
You can download a free trial of our Connector for Salesforce and Confluence today and try it in your own instance of Confluence.
